This course will develop your understanding of the role, skills and qualities of a successful massage therapist in relation to the client who suffers with unresolved trauma, particularly domestic abuse, sexual abuse and PTSD. You will extend your knowledge of the physiological aspects of PTSD and trauma, and its relationship to chronic pain and skin conditions, be able to identify both physical and psychological symptoms, and to understand the precautions you should take as a therapist when treating a client who has been through trauma.
REGISTER nOWThis course develops your understanding of the role, skills and qualities of a successful massage therapist in relation to the client with mental health issues, understanding the precautions you should take as a therapist and recognising where certain emotions will manifest as physical symptoms in the body. You will extend your knowledge of the physiological aspects of mental health and improve your understanding of specific issues such as grief, depression, ADHD, eating disorders and psychosomatic illnesses, enabling you to adapt your treatment accordingly, and offer some self help suggestions to your client suffering from stress.
REGISTER nOWThis course will cover the anatomy of the yoni and specific points of stimulation, enabling you to identify ways that a woman can feel pleasure in order to reconnect with her body and her sexuality . You will understand what yoni massage is and the reasons for it, including how it can help clients with trauma, multiple gynaecological surgeries, or negative experiences in their relationships. While there is not a practical session, this course does teach you how to perform a yoni massage and how to deal with sudden emotional release of stored traumatic tension
