So many times I see other therapists asking how to treat certain medical issues or injuries. The answer is that you shouldn't unless you have training or experience in a certain area as you could do more harm than good. If you don't understand the physiology and aetiology behind certain issues, how can you possibly offer a safe and effective treatment? The problem is that most massage training doesn't cover even the basic medical conditions that will come through your door.
